| Details: | This is the easiest shop hop ever: no need to sign up or buy a passport, just start hopping! Visit any participating shop between June 21 and August 31, and collect a free pattern, unique to that store. (The rules stipulate one pattern per person.) Kits will also be available with all the fabric needed, and the pattern is included. These can be mailed. This year’s theme is “Pop of Color,” and the designs will be neutral fabrics, with a pop of color. Each pattern will consist of four 9” blocks that can be sewn into an 18” block or a 9” x 36” row. Between July 5 and September 30, 2021, a prize of 15 fat quarters will be awarded by each participating shop to the first two people to bring a completed quilt into their store using at least eight different patterns from Quilters Trek shops. Each shop will offer a BONUS PRIZE if the winning quilt includes that shop’s pattern in its design. Our BONUS PRIZE is a $20 gift certificate to Quilters Corner! The Quilters Corner pattern for Quilters Trek 2021 is called Spirit, designed by our own Kristin Thompson. Pileated Woodpeckers symbolize loyalty, determination, and steady work toward a goal. They show up as a Spirit Animal when embarking on a project that will take some time, signifying that loyalty, hard work, and determination will get the job done. During the event dates, one pattern per person is free and only available in the shop. Kits contain the pattern and all the fabric to make your Spirit into a small wall hanging. They are $21 and can be purchased in the shop, by phone, or on our website. |
