This class is for anyone who is terrified of the "A" word but would love to learn applique. It's a foolproof preparation method that can then be stitched down by hand or machine.

Learn the basics of clothing pattern grading, which is the term for making a pattern bigger or smaller. You will learn a quick and accurate method (and when it can be done) without needing to completely redraft the pattern.

Do you have a quilt top finished that you need to sandwich or baste in preparation for quilting? Needing to baste can halt your progress. Many hands make light work! Learn to baste in a frame, one top each, and more if there is time.

Learn a quick and easy hand quilting stitch that will add a sweet personal touch to your quilts. Cyndi will also teach you a hand embroidery stitch that will make binding your quilts lots of fun.

Are you frustrated with the fit of your tops? Learn to adjust patterns for your unique body and gain confidence to sew your own clothing. Learn adjustments for common fit issues including: small or large busts, narrow or wide shoulders, full tummy, and tall or petite height.

Students who have taken Part 1 can build on your basic knowledge of bodice adjustments. Additional adjustments will be demonstrated, and there will be dedicated time during the second half of class for Stephanie to advise you on adjusting your own patterns.

Sewing French Roses is so easy and so much fun that we encourage beginners to try it. The edges are raw to "bloom" when washed.

Westalee rulers are designed for quilters to use on their home sewing machine as guides for free motion quilting. Learn to properly attach the free motion ruler foot to your machine, then to move the fabric while the foot hugs the edge of the ruler. You will practice using several different rulers.

For quilters, the half-square triangle (HST) is one of the most versatile and commonly used shapes. The design possibilities are endless! This class will explore several different and easy methods to make HST?s and Kristin will demonstrate some of the handy rulers that make squaring up a breeze.
