Do you have a quilt top finished that you need to sandwich or baste in preparation for quilting? Needing to baste can halt your progress. Many hands make light work! Learn to baste in a frame, one top each, and more if there is time.

Get ready for the advent season by making an advent calendar for someone special and then bling it up! We'll start by making the advent calendar. Choose one of the three options we have in stock. They are all so easy to make - fold, press, layer with backing and batting and quilt as you go. Then the party begins!

This great looking table runner is sewn with a quilt-as-you-go method, which is really fast and easy. Measuring 17”x 52”, when you are finished piecing, just bind it and you’re done! It’s fun to play with the fabric colors to create a 3D effect by going from a light center out to dark borders.

Do you agonize over fabric choices when planning to make a quilt? Learn the language of color, explore the color wheel, and play with fabric combinations.

Capture your favorite bird or animal in a new medium! Louise will show you how to transfer an image onto fabric. You will learn some basic hand embroidery stitches to emulate fur or feathers, and tips and tricks to bring the piece to life.

Learn basics about machine quilting that will make you more successful: proper needles, thread, batting, tools and machine features. Then you will practice some simple designs that are beginner-friendly - first with a walking foot and then free-motion - so you can finish your quilts with confidence.

Our Long Time Gone stitch along remains in progress, with many students well on their way to finishing, while others have joined along the way and will continue with the pattern. This Fall we will select as a group, and then transition into, another of Jen Kingwell's vintage-meets-modern patterns that lend themselves so well to a wide variety of fabrics.

Preprinted, sew-by-number batting and a template mean this quilt-as-you-go tree skirt is easy and fast to make. Bring some favorite Christmas fabrics, and maybe a fun novelty for the back, and we will zip through this project. Tree skirts make great Christmas and wedding gifts.

This class is for beginners and beyond. Gail will teach the stitch and the rhythm of this ancient embroidery stitching. This will also be a time for Sashiko stitchers to come together to continue to develop our rhythm.

This class takes you beyond Edith's Beginning Serger class, and is designed for those who can thread their serger and generally understand how it works. We will cover rolled hem, differential feed, and zipper insertion, depending on your machine's capabilities.

Bring your hand stitching project, and Kristin will provide her encouragement and expertise, and inspire you with her work. This is a relaxing, dedicated time to learn and make progress on your Tinsel or other design of your choice. We will explore new stitches, practice ones we've tried before and play with combining stitches to create designs.
