Dresden Star
This design by Edyta Sitar features 3D points between the Dresden fan blades. It happily mixes batiks and cottons. The sewing is easy, and you have your choice of appliquéing the circle by hand or machine. You should be able to complete a number of blocks in class. Sjoukje will discuss setting the blocks and finishing up the quilt. Pattern and machine required.
