Make a Pillowcase Make a Difference

Quilters Corner is joining the challenge of making one million pillowcases nationwide and we invite you to help.  Stop by and sew one.  It's fast and easy.  Family and friends welcome.

We've distributed 200 pillowcases through Tompkins County United Way to local shelters and personal care packets this year.  Our goal for the weekend is 50 pillowcases and 500 for 2010.  Free pillowcases patterns available at Quilters Corner or go to http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/millionpillowcases/freepatterns/index.html 

If you are unable to come to our Make a Difference Day but still want to help just bring one you've made at home.  We also have free kits of fabric to make them with if you need them.
