Take Dresden Plates to a new level with this class. Sharon wrote the
book on this technique, literally. She'll share techniques from her book
to help you construct a small wallhanging with one full plate and four
quarter plates. She'll show you the technique for fussy-cutting identical
blades, as well as how to hand piece and hand appliquéthe
plates. This is a process class, with directions provided to complete
the quilt at home.

Expand Your Machine Quilting Skills

Lori will review the basics of machine quilting and continue your
education in this journey to finished quilts. You'll practice with pencil
and paper and muslin sandwiches. Needles, thread, and batting will be
on the agenda. She'll look at quilt tops and discuss what the quilt requires:
traditional, contemporary, or whimsical. She'll help you evaluate the
skill level needed for specific designs. Finally you'll practice, practice,
