Hand Quilting with a Hoop

Beginning Quiltmaking

This class will give you a solid introduction to quiltmaking. We will
focus on different techniques each session (rotary cutting, squares, triangles,
stars) while making blocks for a wallhanging or small quilt. The later
sessions will cover basting, machine quilting and binding. Roll up your

Intro to Paper Piecing

Do the words "sharp points," and, "exact corners,"
frighten you? Paper piecing makes it easy to achieve extreme accuracy
even when piecing the tiniest of pieces and produces the sharpest points.
You need only know how to sew a straight line. Have fun learning this
technique as you join Linda to create a sampler wallhanging. Book and
machine required.

Binding 101

Ease yourself into the art of binding while learning to miter corners,
finish the back, and eliminate the "bump" where you start and
end. We will use straight grain binding, not bias, for this class. Hanging
