Local Quilt Show

We just finished up with our local quilt show this past weekend. What a wonderful experience. If you don't belong to a local guild, you should think about joining. The women are warm and supportive. We laughed, worked together and were all inspired by the fabulous quilts in the show.
This year we had our first Iron Quilter on Saturday. We had 8 contestants with three hours each to make a quilt. They had rules and some fabric they had to use in the piece they made. What a blast! The quilts were auctioned off and proceeds ( I think this was ~$1500) went to The Cancer Resource Center.
We also have our small quilt auction which was lots of fun. I won two quilts there! (This is how I like to think of it)

We had several of our past Blocks-of-the-Month entered in the show. I've got the photos below. They turned out beautifully.
