The Art Bras are here! They arrived Tues and will be staying with us until Oct. 8th. Each one is wonderful. Some are funny, some introspective and all are inspiring. Come vote for your favorite. We have posters with all the bras for $5 and brochures with artist statements for $1. These are limited and are not being reprinted. All money goes to American Cancer Society and ENCORE Plus. The bras will be auctioned off in November. Check out local Channel 16 at 7pm for a newsclip of the Art Bras.
Other news here at the shop. We're having a huge sale! Bolts and Bolts of fabric on sale for $4.50. Cyndi went wild and filled the classroom with sale bolts and all the dog house is $4.50. Sale ends Monday, Oct.5th.
This weekend don't forget the Tompkins County Quilt Show. This year it is at TC3 in Dryden NY. The local guild is known for creating quality, innovative and traditional quilts. There are hundreds of quilts on display, along with a silent auction of small quilts. They also have a new event called The Iron Quilter that is scheduled for Saturday. Watch the guild's bedturning of antique quilts all through the weekend.
Be sure to stop by the QC booth to say Hi! as you browse the vendors mall. We have a special trunk show from Elisa's Backporch Designs hanging in our booth.
