PA. Quilt Show

Kristin and I decided to go the the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza XVI on Saturday. We couldn't decide if we wanted to spend the night, so we packed accordingly. Even with a stop at Krispy Kream donut shop we made the 4 hr. trip in 3 1/2 hrs with Kristin driving.
The first thing we noticed when we walked through the main entrance were the rows of vendors. I'm talking about 11 rows with at least 10 vendors per row. We found Cyndi and Linda in row 8. We said Hi, wasted no time and off we went. We weren't even 5 booths into the vendors when we found a booth that sold Buttons and vintage table cloths of all kinds. We got stuck! I think we bought 4 apiece. I mean you need at least two for X-mas and maybe one for a gift and one for parties, right?
We were so afraid of the rest of the booths that Kristin couldn't even look at the buttons, and we were off again. Three more booths away was a booth with paintstiks, cording, a new book and technique and again we got stuck. You can expect Kristin to have a new class this winter with a killer sample. This was waaayy cool.
Needless to say we helped out the economy in the vendor aisles. I won't mention any more, cause you never know if your hubby is reading your blog. Oh, the quilt show...it was great too! We were inspired, we oohhed and aahhd, we sat and recuperated, we loved it all. I konked out first. I hate to say it, but I sat down to rest my feet while Kristin went to look for some fabric and the next thing I know she is tapping my shoulder. Hope I didn't snore. Due to low funds (wonder why) we decided not to spend the night. We got home by 9pm, had a glass of wine and put our feet up.
