Fall Newsletter

The Fall Newsletter is out and should be in your hands by now. If you didn't get it, you can download it from the website. Kaye has been busy putting up samples for the classes. Everything looks wonderful. Below is one of the walls that the samples are displayed on. We have lots of new things to teach and some classes are what I would call the classics.
Kristin is teaching from one of our new blocks-of-the-month called Stitcher's Garden. I've been sewing with her while she is working on the blocks and it's an amazing quilt and learning opportunity. Every month the pattern uses a different technique for making the flower blocks. You actually quilt the background squares first and add the flowers. Very cool!
We also have the Christmas Corner up. We have samples from three new books and new patterns too. Check out Gail's tree skirt. It's a striking 'braided' piece that makes a secondary star. She is teaching this too.
There are also some new samples hanging around the store. Fall will be an exciting time at the shop with all the events coming up along with the many classes that we're offering. I expect that before we know it the holidays will be here.
