In the Dark

Today at work was a bit interesting. We had no power for about the first hour and a half. We were trying to put fabric and kits away from QBL and help customers find things in the dark. We had all the doors open and would run to them or the windows to see the color of fabric, threads, etc. None of the customers seemed to be daunted by the challenge.
Cyndi had a class and they started with a show and tell session. We found a flashlight and along with the emergency lighting had a great show. Did you know that those metallic threads shine in the dark with a flashlight?
The lights finally came back on much to everyone's delight. Nobody even thought about not shopping or having the class. Quilters are just an amazing group of people.
