Quilt Market Schoolhouse

Today was schoolhouse at Quilt Market. What is schoolhouse? A day of learning, hopefully. There were 244 different classes offered on a wide range of topics. The emphasis is on introducing new products or techniques from suppliers/manufacturers/designers. The day starts at 10 and goes to 6pm. The four of us each got a catelog of all the classes and their times. They run from 15 to 30 min each. We decided what looked good and tried not to go to two of the same. They give you 5 min between each class to get the next. And you're off!
At the end of the day, we could barely walk and our brains couldn't hold one more bit of info. We somehow found a restaurant and proceded to discuss what each of us had seen. We wrapped up this info sharing session in one of our rooms with our pj's on at 10:30pm.
Tomorrow we'll go see more goodies. We have appts with fabric vendors and will walk the convention floor looking for new gadgets, books, patterns and anything else that we know all of us just can't live without.
Here's a photo of half of the floor from a bridge above in the middle.
