Capture the beauty of the winter season with this unique 87" x 100" quilt designed by Nancy Murty. Six winter song birds will delight all bird lovers in an antique looking color way of golds, tans, warm greens and reds. The pre-printed bird panels and easy piecing make this a great quilt for beginners with basic piecing techniques and rotary cutting skills. During the first three months you will receive ample fabric and pattern instructions to piece a section of the top. Month four includes the borders, binding and setting directions. Months 1-3, are $20; Month 4 is $39.

Signs of spring are everywhere and our Feathered Friends are returning. Make your own cheerful wall hanging of seven familiar backyard birds perched on a tree. This original block of the month is a new offering by local quilt designer Elsie Dentes. Instructions are included for curved-piecing, and alternatively, for applique. You'll have your own 48 x 56" aviary finished in seven months. For extra instruction and dedicated sewing time, take Elsie's once a month class and watch your birds take flight!
